Description: Black Owned Maine launched ten months ago. We emphasize ‘launched’ because we never had any intentions beyond building a basic directory. 24 hours in and our directory received 30,000 views, our Instagram following was growing rapidly. One week later our directory had 100,000 views, our IG account had 6k followers, and we knew we needed to do more. We invite you to join us as we revisit our original story, discuss our programming and funding, as well as our ideologies around growing BOM into a black business resource and incubator. This event will be recorded and displayed on our Youtube channel. Note: This event is only for the general public.
